Flag Loan Requests

To request a loan of an NWT flag for event purposes, please fill out the form below and submit electronically, or send a letter to the Government of Northwest Territories, Department of Executive including the information requested below.

Please complete the entire form, as all categories are mandatory to process your flag-lending request. Mandatory fields are marked by an asterisk (*).

Flags can be requested for indoor or parade use only, and are to be returned in good repair, clean and folded. If a flag is returned and is unkempt in any way, the recipient organization will be billed for the cleaning services and/or replacement of the flag. Keep in mind that the responsibility for the flag continues to be that of the recipient organization until it has been returned to the GNWT. It is also important that flags are returned in a timely fashion.

Once the request has been approved, the flag will be sent to you through Canada Post (regular service). Please allow approximately 14 days for delivery.
